Sinéad Griffin, a staff scientist in the Materials Sciences Division at the Molecular Foundry who is also a WD&E Mentor, has won a big award – it’s the Early Career Scientist Prize in Computational Physics from the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics. Sinéad has been a guest speaker many times since she was a postdoc at LBNL, has recruited other guest speakers, has shared the SULI and CCI applications with mentors and students, and has been a strong advocate for WD&E programs in general.
