- Complete the full 10-week program (approx. 40 hours per week), with no time off from start to finish (excluding weekends and Lab holidays).
- Complete entrance and exit surveys.
- Make a poster presentation and submit a six- to eight-page research project report on the outcome of your EERE-related research activities.
- Attend all scheduled events, including lectures, tours, and group activities.
- Complete all Berkeley Lab safety and procedural requirements.
- Must behave in a responsible and professional manner. Interns must adhere to the Ethics and Conduct at Berkeley Lab Requirements and Policies Manual (RPM).

- Workforce Development & Education (WD&E) interns cannot take classes (including online) while participating in the program.
- Complete all assignments and deliverables including intern/mentor photos.
