Earth Day Logo 2022 Landscape

From Day One, President Biden has made tackling climate change a top priority for his domestic and international agenda. His whole-of-government approach, alongside local governments and the private sector, is already accelerating climate action. A key piece of the President’s Build Back Better agenda — the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law — includes more than $62 billion for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to invest in our planet and deliver a more equitable clean energy future for the American people by:

  • Investing in American manufacturing and workers.
  • Expanding access to energy efficiency and clean energy for families, communities and businesses.
  • Delivering reliable, clean, and affordable power to more Americans.
  • Building the technologies of tomorrow through clean energy demonstrations.

This Earth Day and every day, the DOE is committed to meeting this moment with lasting action. Join us as we celebrate collective action with interactive activities and resources.
